About Brenden Pours: Getting Started
Brenden Pours began during quarantine in 2021 when I came across a paint pouring video on TikTok and got inspired to try it myself. At the time, I was just looking for something creative to do while stuck at home, and I had no experience with painting at all. My first few attempts didn’t turn out the way I expected, but I kept practicing and experimenting with different colors and techniques until I started to understand how it worked. As I improved, I realized how much I genuinely enjoyed the process and how relaxing and exciting it was to create something unique every time. I am currently a 16-year-old student at Traverse City Central High School, and I officially started my business four years ago on June 30th. When I first began paint pouring, I never imagined that my art would grow into something others would appreciate and want to buy. Over time, I expanded beyond canvases by creating candles, rock magnets, and paint-poured ornaments, allowing me to explore new ideas and styles. Now, I continue to make and sell my artwork, using the money to purchase more materials so I can keep improving, experimenting, and growing my small business.
